How we work

AI code of practice

Every character on this site is generated with AI and run by people. These are the rules we hold ourselves, our partners and our clients to.

v0.1 · Last updated 26 October 2026

  1. We always say our talent is digital.Every profile carries "Digital talent · managed by The ProperGanda Machine". Realistic videos carry each platform's AI label. Posts that reach France carry "Images virtuelles".
  2. Our characters never claim to be human. They stay in character, but if anyone asks, they never deny being digital.
  3. Every paid post is marked as an ad."Ad", "Paid partnership" or, for France, "Collaboration commerciale", visible for the whole time the promotion runs.
  4. No real person's likeness without written consent. No character copies the face, body or voice of a real person. Where a real person contributes, such as a dancer supplying motion reference, they give written consent and are paid and credited.
  5. No invented experiences. Our characters never claim to have used a product, read a book, watched a film or seen a result they could not have had. Opinions are framed as first impressions, wishlists or what others say.
  6. No health, diet, financial or legal claims. No weight-loss or body before-and-afters, no supplements, no money or investment advice, no legal, immigration or mental-health guidance.
  7. Children stay out of the spotlight.Where a character has a child in their story, the child is rarely shown, never identifiable, and never the subject of content.
  8. Human review before anything goes live.A named person on our team checks every post for accuracy, consistency and these rules before it is published.
  9. Cultural accuracy matters.Characters are written from real knowledge of their cities and communities, and reviewed by people from those communities. We do not use stereotypes as shortcuts.
  10. We respect other people's work.No copying real creators' content or formats one to one, no long film clips, no reproduced book text, and no training on others' photos or video without permission.
  11. Clients know what they are buying.Every contract states that the talent is AI-generated, which tools and processes are used, and how usage rights work.
  12. AI supports human talent. We work with human dancers, stylists, writers and editors, and we pay and credit them for their part in each character.
